Matt Elkott

Matt Elkott joined Cowen and Company in 2013 as part of the acquisition of Dahlman Rose and is the machinery and transportation OEM analyst, in addition to having covered surface transportation as an associate since 2009. Prior to joining Dahlman Rose in 2009, Mr. Elkott was an equity research associate at the Stanford Group covering semiconductors, solar energy, and wind energy. At Stanford, he also played a key role in the launch of the software sector research coverage alongside an Institutional Investor-ranked analyst. Prior to his Wall Street career, Mr. Elkott led a number of roles in market research and business management.

Mr. Elkott received a bachelor of science degree in finance from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
