Prior to joining Cowen in July 2013, Marc Frahm was a graduate research assistant at Duke University. At Duke, he studied the T-cell response to HIV, the regulation of PD-L1 expression, and developed an in vitro diagnostic method for the differentiation of active and latent TB infections.

Dr. Frahm received a BS in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his Ph.D. in molecular genetics and microbiology from Duke University.
