Jack Seibald

Mr. Seibald has been involved in the financial markets for 40 years, and during that time have accumulated a broad range of experience in the investment business, including prime brokerage, investment management, investment research, and outsourced trading. As Managing Director and Global Co-Head, Prime Brokerage & Outsourced Trading, TD Cowen since 2015, Mr. Seibald played a major role in driving global expansion of these divisions, through the introduction of new services and asset classes, building a presence in Europe and Asia. Overseeing the firm’s rapidly expanding and highly experienced teams across the US as well as in London and Hong Kong, Mr. Seibald helped to build market leading and award-winning Prime Brokerage and Outsourced Trading divisions, renowned for the breadth of their offering and exceptional levels of service. Mr. Seibald is a firm believer in transparency and integrity, with a commitment to delivering the highest levels of service to all clients. In November 2022 Mr. Seibald was inducted into the Global Custodian Hall of Fame 2022 for his contribution to the industry.

Mr. Seibald came to TD Cowen via its acquisition of Concept Capital Markets, LLC, which he co-founded and where he served as Managing Member and was involved in the management of all aspects of the firm’s operations. Earlier in his career, Mr. Seibald was a Managing Member & Co-Founder of Whiteford Advisors, LLC, an investment management firm, where he co-managed several pools of funds. He began his career at Oppenheimer & Co. as an equity analyst covering the retailing industry and has also been affiliated with Salomon Brothers, and Morgan Stanley & Co in similar positions. Mr. Seibald also operated The Seibald Report, Inc., an independent research firm specializing in the retailing sector.

He holds an MBA from Hofstra University and a BA from George Washington University.
