Dr. Dierk Beyer is a Partner and Managing Director in Investment Banking / Mergers and Acquisitions at Cowen in Europe. At Cowen, he covers health care M&A in Europe, with a specific focus on pharma and life sciences services. Additional areas of focus are Cowen’s cannabis and robotics franchises.
He has more than 25 years of experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations and licensing transactions in the life sciences, health care and pharmaceuticals industries.
Dr. Beyer holds a PhD from the Institute of Organic Chemistry and the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Chemistry in Mainz, Germany. Prior to his career in investment banking, he managed projects in Health Care and Chemicals for the Boston Consulting Group in Europe.
He currently serves as advisory board member for a number of life sciences companies. He has also served as member of the “Task Force Pharma” for the German Federal Ministry of Health.
