Ctibor Cemper

Ctibor Cemper is a Director on the Strategic Capital investment banking team. In this role, Mr. Cemper is engaged with the startup community, corporate and venture capital funds, family offices, sovereign funds, and other institutional investors. The engagement varies from reviewing direct and indirect investments for TD Cowen’s balance sheet, actively screening for technology startups in data, mobility, artificial intelligence and blockchain which impact TD Cowen’s businesses and closely working with the Investment Banking and Research groups on sourcing client and investor relationships.

Prior to being in the Strategic Capital Group, Mr. Cemper was in the Investment Banking group at TD Cowen in the TMT group. During his 10+ years in investment banking, Mr. Cemper has served as an advisor, underwriter and placement agent on dozens of initial public offerings, debt offerings, add-on financings and merger and acquisition transactions at Lazard, Merrill Lynch and TD Cowen.

Mr. Cemper holds a BA from the University of Economics in Prague, Czech Republic; a MSc, Diplôme de Grande École and Diplom-Kaufmann from ESCP Europe in Paris/Oxford/Berlin and an Executive Program from The Wharton School.
