Cowen Expands Institutional Equity Sales and Trading Team

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–May 9, 2016–
Cowen Group, Inc. (“Cowen”) (NASDAQ:COWN) today announced that Robert
Paglione joins Cowen and Company’s Equity Sales and Trading team. Bob
will serve as the Boston Regional Manager overseeing Boston Equity Sales
in partnership with Jimmy Ward. Mr. Paglione will report to Philip
Cushman, Cowen’s Head of Equity Sales.

Mr. Paglione brings 23 years of equities experience. He joins Cowen from
Goldman Sachs where he served in a senior institutional sales role.
Previously, he was with Credit Suisse’s institutional equity sales team.
Before that, Mr. Paglione was with Merrill Lynch’s mergers and
acquisitions group. Mr. Paglione began his career at First Boston as an
analyst with the mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets
groups.
