Cowen Announces Appointment of Rhys Brooks as Head of Sales Trading
NEW YORK, Nov. 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Cowen Inc. (NASDAQ:COWN) (“Cowen” or the “Company”) today announced that Rhys Brooks has joined the firm’s investment bank, Cowen and Company, as Head of Sales Trading. In this position, Mr. Brooks will lead the growth of Cowen’s sales trading business and work to further enhance Cowen’s client-service resources. Mr. Brooks will report to Dan Charney, Co-President, Cowen and Company.

Mr. Brooks joins Cowen with 25 years of equity trading experience. Mr. Brooks spent two years as Head of Sales Trading at KeyBanc Capital Markets. Previously, he served as the Head of Sales Trading at Jefferies for nine years. Mr. Brooks received his B.A. from University of Lynchburg.
