Trade Settlement Associate

The International Settlements Department is looking for an experienced Trade Settlement Associate to join their team. The Associate will assist with the daily settlement functions in international stock markets and be responsible for facilitating settlement and monitoring activity for a specific set of markets within Canada and South America. Someone that is very detail-oriented, a critical thinker and capable of working in a fast-paced environment would be a good fit for this position. The role will be based in the Lake Mary office and a hybrid work-from-home / in-office opportunity

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Trade settlement functions in markets throughout Canada and South America
  • Daily reconciliations of books and records
  • Monitoring and reporting of cash and stock balances
  • Trade settlement data analysis


  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of stock exchange settlement rules in Canada and South America
  • Use of SWIFT trade instructions and formatting
  • Experience using the Broadridge, GLOSS & BPS systems is preferred

The expected base salary ranges from $55,000–$75,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
