2024 Markets Summer Analyst Program

Intern - Mkt

New York, NY

Job Overview

TD Cowen is looking for candidates with varying backgrounds and experiences to join our 2024 Markets Summer Analyst Program and be immersed in our inclusive culture at TD Cowen!  This experience will provide exposure to experienced professionals through on-the-job training and department rotations throughout the Equities platform across all functions (Sales, Trading, Sales-Trading etc.).  Interns will work alongside industry experts in a fast-paced collaborative environment and have real-time exposure to client meetings.  This is an eight to ten-week program running from early June to mid-August in person in our offices in New York City.

Responsibilities Include

Training & Orientation:

The internship will begin with a firmwide Orientation to integrate you into the culture of the organization, followed by a three-day interactive Wall Street Prep training program.  This program is designed to teach you the building blocks of financial institutions and jargon of the Global Markets and will conclude with a trading simulation to put your skills to practice.

Mentorship and Networking:

The Program will include a formal mentorship with employees who will act as a career guide for navigating your internship and beyond. Summer Analysts will have the opportunity to engage in a Senior Speaker series designed to familiarize participants with the workings of Sales & Trading as well as our Investment Banking, Equity Research, and Business Operations divisions.  Interns will also be able to participate in social networking events with one-another as well as employees of the Firm on an ongoing basis to experience TD Cowen’s culture and assimilate into our Firm.

Hands-on Experience:

This is an opportunity to experience TD Cowen’s unique culture, work on a fast-paced trading floor, attend client meetings, and build fundamental skills. You will be working with analysts across the floor to understand different aspects of Sales and Trading, ultimately leading to a final stock pitch presentation designed to showcase critical thinking skills and increase professional presence.
