Job Overview

Cowen Electronic Trading provides algorithmic trading solutions in Cash Equites for North American, Asian, and European markets.  We’re looking to add a motivated and proactive team orientated Analyst to our Client Services Team.  This is an exciting opportunity with high career advancement potential.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Real-time monitoring of algorithmic trading systems, including market data, algorithmic system performance, and product usage
  • Execution consulting, product expertise to supplement the Client Coverage team
  • Working with venue and execution counterparties to resolve trading issues
  • Client performance report creation and review
  • Electronic coverage support for customizations and enhancement requests
  • Working with various teams within the firm to troubleshoot production issues

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-6 years of experience in a Sales & Trading or Client Service position.
  • Strong communication and technical skills.
  • Organized, self-motivated, detail and deadline oriented.
  • Good understanding of equity broker trading systems and trade flow from order entry to settlement.
  • Performance reporting and basic SQL experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of FIX messaging.
  • Financial technology production support experience a plus.
