Job Overview

Cowen’s development team is seeking to augment their existing development capability with an individual who has experience developing and supporting a highly complex business environment. You will join an established team supporting and enhancing the existing set of products as well as developing new solutions using the latest technologies. 

The successful candidate will need strong technological as well as organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities and Outputs include

  • Implement high quality code in an agile environment and with a focus on creating impact for our end users.
  • Working closely with the development team to ensure that all aspects of the platform are well designed and interact smoothly
  • Work across teams to coordinate troubleshooting and resolution of issues
  • Work in a way that promotes high test coverage, development standards, code reviews and great documentation.
  • Detailing the specifications of how features, improvements, and user requirements will be built so that they fulfil business needs, including architectural design and development documentation.
  • Creating, testing and documenting new and amended programmes
  • Working with the complete software development life cycle
  • Keeping up to date knowledge of C# and .NET technologies
