Job Overview:

Cowen’s Outsourced Trading team provides unconflicted, buy-side trading capabilities and support, allowing investment managers to outsource their entire desk to supplement an existing trading operation – which a shared ambition to outperform.

With Cowen, hedge funds and institutional asset managers of all size can expand their trading operations with our multi-asset class offering, delivered by highly experienced traders.  Coverage includes Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, Futures & Options. 


  • Provide general support to Outsourced Trade Team.
  • Execute and monitor client orders.
  • Partner with Sales to identify new business opportunities and provide support to cultivate client relationships.
  • Collaborate effectively to help cross sell various products across the Cowen platform.

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of Equity Options trading experience.
  • Familiarity with leading Order and Execution Management systems.
  • Ability to synthesize data rapidly and analyze/communicate findings clearly and articulately.
  • Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communications skills to ensure prompt and professional approach when working with clients and colleagues.
