Job Overview:

Cowen is looking for a Sales & Trading Associate to help support its ADR Conversion business.  The candidate will work alongside and support two ADR Traders and two Operations Managers and across a variety of accounts.  Additionally, with proven success, there would be an opportunity to maintain and own account responsibilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a premier Equity franchise platform, in a team-oriented environment with high career advancement potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support to ADR Trade and Operations Teams.
  • Collaborate effectively to help cross sell various products across the Cowen Equity platform.
  • Work with ADR Depositories and ADR Cross books to confirm conversion books and fees and leverage analytical tools to optimize deal pricing, manage risk and maximize upside potential.
  • Partner with International partners in Asia & Europe along with US Sales Traders to cross reference orders.
  • Respond to client requests via phone and email and as needed provide research and earnings models, as well as corporate access, and catering to conference meeting requests.
  • Seek new opportunities to expand coverage while helping maintain the current client base.
  • Conduct analysis on client and competitive market to help benchmark and communicate findings to leadership team.

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years in either domestic or international Equities.
  • Experience with depositary receipts and a foundational understanding of Global Markets.
  • Ability to synthesize data rapidly and analyze/communicate findings clearly and articulately.
  • Ability to prioritize and multiple projects and meet critical deadlines with a high level of detail.
  • Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communications skills to ensure prompt and professional approach when working with clients and colleagues.
