The Healthcare Investment Banking group (San Francisco) is currently accepting applications for Cowen's 2021 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program. To qualify as a candidate you must expect to graduate between December 2021 and June 2022.

Program Description

Cowen summer analysts can expect a fast-paced, demanding work environment that offers the opportunity to learn and grow professionally. Lean deal teams enable interns to play a contributing role on the winning of new business and execution on robust pipeline of transactions. Direct interaction with senior bankers, meaningful client exposure and a robust level of assignments are to be expected. Responsibilities include performing financial analysis, conducting industry and company research, writing, and preparing presentation and marketing materials.

The internship program is ten weeks and runs from early June through mid-August. Week 1 the greater analyst class gathers in New York for extensive training in corporate finance, valuation, financial modeling and Excel. Summer analysts are paired with mentors to provide career advice and guidance to navigate the program successfully. Cowen hosts a variety of social and networking events throughout the program that encourage interns to interact and foster relationships with employees across the firm. Cowen's summer program consistently provides the primary pipeline and majority of hires for our Investment Banking full-time analyst program.
