Chris McCabe joined Cowen in 2011 as Managing Director and Head of the TMT Banking Team with further expertise as the Senior Semiconductor Banker. Chris advises on transactions in equity and debt with a particular focus on Merger & Acquisitions (M&A), both domestically and overseas. Chris’ expertise with overseas buyers includes representing E-town Capital in Beijing on the acquisition of Matson as wells as, executing cross border deals in China and Korea.
Chris works with clients across the electronics supply chain and most recently completed the sale of Conexant for $340 million to Synaptics, the sale of Exar for $700 million to MaxLinear, and the sale of GigPeak for $250 million to IDTI. Other recent transactions include representing Pericom on the sale of Diodes, Oplink on the sale to Molex, Xcerra on the announced sale to Sino IC, the IPO of Ichor, and a secondary sale for TPI Composites.
Chris joined Cowen from Piper Jaffray where he was Managing Director and Global Head of the Technology Group, and Cleantech and Renewables Group.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and holds an MBA in International Management from the University of South Carolina.
