Mr. Charney is Head of Equities for Cowen and Company. Mr. Charney joined Cowen from Jefferies where he most recently served as Managing Director and Head of Global Electronic Trading Services as well as Head of U.S. Salestrading. Before joining Jefferies, Mr. Charney was a Managing Director and head of West Coast equity distribution at UBS Securities and he held various other positions in the financial services sector earlier in his career.
He has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at University of California Berkeley.
Mr. Cushman is Head of Equity Sales for Cowen and Company. Prior to joining Cowen, Mr. Cushman served as a Managing Director and Head of Global Equity Product Management at Jefferies, as well as a member of Jefferies’ Equity Operating Committee. Prior to joining Jefferies, he served as an Executive Director in Morgan Stanley’s Equity Sales group. Before that he was at WR Hambrecht + Co, where he served as Head of New York Institutional Sales. Mr. Cushman began his career in equity sales at Cowen in the 1990s.
Mr. Cushman holds a degree in History from the University of Colorado.
Seaburg is a Managing Director and Head of Sales Trading at Cowen and Company. Over the course of his 20+ year career at Cowen in both Equity Sales Trading and Trading, Mr. Seaburg has advanced to increasingly senior level roles at the firm. In 2006, Mr. Seaburg was named Head of Sales Trading and appointed to the firm’s Equity Operating Committee. Mr. Seaburg is a CNBC Contributor and provides regular on-air market commentary for the network.
Mr. Seaburg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Finance and Economics from Northeastern University.
Mr. Stein is a Managing Director and Head of Equity Trading for Cowen and Company. Prior to joining Cowen in 2006, Mr. Stein was a Director and Head of Technology and Telecom Trading at CSFB. Prior to that, Mr. Stein was a Vice President and Equity Trader at Lehman Brothers.
Mr. Stein holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Cornell University.
