Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy is a Managing Director in TD Cowen’s Equity Capital Markets Group. In this role he is responsible for the origination and execution of At-the-Market offerings and providing clients with market-based insights to refine equity financing strategy. Prior to rejoining TD Cowen, Mr. Murphy was a trader at Schonfeld Strategic Advisors LLC and Visium Asset Management LLC, where he was responsible for trade execution in equities, derivatives and futures across multiple portfolios with a variety of investment strategies.

Mr. Murphy began his career at TD Cowen as a member of the Capital Markets Group and later worked in TD Cowen’s Equities division as a Sales Trader covering institutional investor clients.

Mr. Murphy received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Richmond.
