John P. Nelson

Mr. Nelson is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the U.S. Diversified Industries Group. Previously, Mr. Nelson was a Managing Director at Bank of America Securities, where he headed the Technology & Business Services Group. Prior to Bank of America, Mr. Nelson worked at Salomon Smith Barney and Bear Stearns, where he focused on technology-related mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Nelson received an MBA with Distinction from NYU’s Stern School of Business, and a Master of International Public Policy with Honors from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University. He has a BA in Management from Gettysburg College. Prior to business school, Mr. Nelson served as a Captain in the U.S. Army.
