NEW YORK & HOUSTON – November 5, 2018 – Cowen and Company, the investment banking division of Cowen Inc. (NASDAQ:COWN) (collectively, “Cowen”), and Intrepid Partners, LLC (“Intrepid”), the advisory business of the energy-focused merchant bank Intrepid Financial Partners, LLC, today announced a strategic alliance to jointly provide comprehensive capital markets advisory and execution services to oil and gas companies and investors in the United States of America and Canada. The exclusive relationship creates a center of excellence in energy capital markets, bringing together Cowen’s high-quality research, sales and trading, capital markets and advisory services with Intrepid’s leading strategic advisory capabilities and deep relationships in the North American energy sector.
