Ann M. Miller Joins Cowen’s Special Situations Team

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Aug. 17, 2017–
Cowen Inc. (NASDAQ:COWN) (“Cowen” or the “Company”) today announced that Ann M. Miller has joined Cowen’s Investment Banking team as a Director
in the Special Situations Group. Ms. Miller is based in Cowen’s New York
City
corporate headquarters and joins the firm with expertise in the
public and private company sectors, working in both distressed and
traditional M&A assignments. In her new role, Ms. Miller is responsible
for both executing mandates and obtaining new mandates with new and
existing clients. In addition, she is also responsible for client
management relating to all of the Special Situations service offerings.

Prior to joining Cowen, Ms. Miller worked as a Director for Houlihan
Lokey
in its Financial Restructuring practice and also previously worked
as a Strategic Consultant and Valuation Advisor at EY. Ms. Miller holds
her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the
University of Wisconsin-Madison and received her Masters of Business
Administration (MBA) from the University of Chicago. She also holds the
designation of Chartered Financial Analyst.
