Mr. Tarasoff joined Cowen and Company as Head of Equity Research in May 2002. Mr. Tarasoff has a long and distinguished record of achievement on Wall Street. Prior to joining Cowen, he was Director of Research and a member of the Executive Committee at Robertson Stephens in San Francisco. Before Robertson Stephens, Mr. Tarasoff was the Global Head of Research at Schroders plc, Vice Chairman of Schroders-U.S. and a member of its Executive Committee. In addition to his career in research management, Mr. Tarasoff spent 20 years as an Institutional Investor-ranked technology analyst at H.C. Wainwright, Goldman Sachs and Schroders.

Mr. Tarasoff graduated from Duke University and holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School.

Mr. Reilly is Co-Director of Research and a member of Cowen and Company’s Equity Division management team. He joined Cowen and Company in 1980 in institutional sales in New York. In 1984, he moved to Boston as Head of Boston Sales and U.S. Marketing. He was named Managing Director and Director of Institutional Sales and Marketing in 1990. Mr. Reilly became Director of Research in 1992 and was appointed Deputy Director of Capital Markets in 1997. He was appointed Co-Director of Research of Cowen in January 2000.

Mr. Reilly has an A.B. in Economics from Boston College and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Rochester.

Bill Herbert is Associate Director of Research for Cowen and Company and a member of Cowen and Company’s Equities Committee. Prior to joining Cowen in 1994 Mr. Herbert was a Senior Vice President of Prudential Securities in New York. During his tenure at Cowen Mr. Herbert has served as the Head of Cowen’s Boston Sales Desk and most recently as Deputy Head of Equities and Head of Sales.

He is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
