René Kraenzlin Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer Mr. Kraenzlin is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Cowen’s Investment Banking Group. He joined Cowen in February of 2007. Mr. Kraenzlin has had a variety of senior management positions in his 20 year Investment Banking career. Prior to joining Cowen, he served as COO of the Investment Banking Division of Dresdner Kleinwort Americas. Prior to that, he was the Chief Administrative Officer for UBS in the Americas and CAO for Broadview International. Mr. Kraenzlin received a Ph.D. in Operations Research and a BA in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
