Mr. Flynn has completed over 100 financings and strategic advisory assignments for consumer companies over the past 15 years. Prior to joining Cowen in 2005, Mr. Flynn was a founding member of Thomas Weisel Partners where he was co-head of the Consumer Investment Banking Group. Prior to joining Thomas Weisel Partners in 1999, Mr. Flynn worked in the Consumer Group at Montgomery Securities for 5 years. He began his career at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Mr. Flynn holds a B.A. from Cornell University.

Owen L. Hart Managing Director owen.hart@cowen.com Mr. Hart is a Managing Director of Mergers & Acquisitions with Cowen and Company and oversees Cowen’s Consumer M&A practice. In his more than 21 years in investment banking, Mr. Hart has advised clients on over 100 M&A engagements. Prior to joining Cowen, he was a Founding Partner of Thomas Weisel Partners and Head of Consumer, Business Services and Semiconductor M&A. Prior to founding Thomas Weisel Partners, Mr. Hart served as Senior Managing Director at Montgomery Securities, overseeing M&A in the Consumer and Business Services sectors. He began his investment banking career at Drexel Burnham Lambert and also worked at Lazard Freres & Co before joining Montgomery Securities in 1994. Mr. Hart holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an M.L.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from Tufts University.

Andrew M. Barish Managing Director andrew.barish@cowen.com Mr. Barish is a Managing Director in Consumer Investment Banking. Additionally, he spearheads the firm’s Investment Banking restaurant practice. Prior to joining Cowen in June 2008, Mr. Barish was Managing Director in the research department at Banc of America Securities, covering the restaurant industry from 2001-2008. Prior to that, he was a Principal and Senior Restaurant Industry Analyst at Robertson, Stephens. He began his career at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Mr. Barish holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Evan S. Robbins Director van.robbins@cowen.com Mr. Robbins is a Director in Consumer Investment Banking. Prior to joining Cowen and Company, Mr. Robbins worked in the consumer group at Robertson Stephens and previously was at Thomas Weisel Partners in both the e-Commerce and Private Placement groups, and at Montgomery Securities in the Retail & Consumer products group. Mr. Robbins has more than 12 years of experience assisting growth consumer companies across all product areas. Mr. Robbins is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and he served in San Diego as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy.

Jason P. Abt Director jason.abt@cowen.com Mr. Abt is a Director in Consumer Investment Banking focused on Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to joining Cowen and Company, he worked at CS First Boston in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Before CS First Boston, Mr. Abt spent two years at Montgomery Securities in the Consumer Mergers & Acquisitions Group, focusing mainly on restaurant and retail clients. Jason holds a B.S. from Arizona State University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
